Bonnie Rae Koski received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2009. She began her career in orthopedic trauma and intermediate care. She also has varied experiences in emergency services, perioperative care, and nursing administration. Bonnie always knew she wanted to teach and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Education from Capella University in 2017.
Bonnie began with AppState in 2023 as an adjunct faculty and clinical professor and has been impressed with the program ever since. In the role of Academic Success Coach, Bonnie looks forward to helping nursing students who have the drive but may be struggling to reach the goal line and begin a successful nursing career.
Bonnie moved to the mountains full-time in January 2022 with her husband and son. She loves golfing, cheering on her Green Bay Packers, and all things arts and crafts. She had been visiting the Boone area all her life, and since the nursing dept started at Appalachian State it has been her dream to work here; she could not be more thrilled.
