Welcome Mrs. Christine Erickson MSN, RN! Christine joined our faculty in August 2018 and we are delighted that she has joined our nursing team. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from North Georgia College State University (University of North Georgia), her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Georgia, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Christine comes to us with clinical experience in emergency department nursing, labor and delivery nursing and nursing management. She is married with two joyful children and currently resides in Hickory. Her research interests focus on cognitive bias, new graduate transition and residency programs, and nursing education.
Three fun facts that you may not know about Christine:
1) She was originally an art major, prior to selecting nursing as her career.
2) She is a collector of all things Groot (Marvel Character).
3) She is originally from Western North Carolina and has made her way back to us.
